PetDerm's expert help for pets facing challenging medical conditions
Internal Medicine Services
When your pet is facing a complex or unexplained illness, having the right expertise by your side can make all the difference. Calgary’s Petderm Internal Medicine service focuses on diagnosing and managing non‑surgical diseases—from digestive and liver issues to respiratory, urinary, immune‑mediated, and endocrine disorders. Our internal medicine team uses advanced diagnostics, including endoscopy and outpatient ultrasounds, to investigate challenging cases, long‑term illnesses, or situations where your family veterinarian needs additional support. With specialized training, compassionate care, and technology designed for deeper medical insight, we’re here to help uncover answers and guide you toward a clearer path forward for your pet.
Internal Medicine Referral Process
To access PetDerm services, we require a referral from your family veterinarian. Simply ask your veterinarian to complete our online referral form with the option for an outpaitent ultrasound, and once it’s submitted, a member of the PetDerm team will reach out to guide you through the next steps.
