PetDerm’s cardiac team uses advanced, non‑invasive diagnostics to better understand how your pet’s heart is functioning and to guide thoughtful, personalized care. Every test is recommended with intention, guided by your pet’s comfort — and your confidence in their care.

Our various cardiac diagnostics assist in evaluating the heart structure, rhythm, and blood flow. Chest X‑rays help assess heart size and lung health. ECGs (electrocardiograms) and Holter monitoring record heart rhythm over your pet’s normal daily activities. Blood pressure monitoring provides an important insight into your pet’s overall cardiovascular health. These tools may be suggested independently or in combination with one another to give us a clearer picture of your pet’s heart function.

How to book this service?

We are now accepting referrals for Cardiology. You do not need to be a current patient of PetDerm to access Cardiology services. We do require a referral from your family veterinarian. Simply ask your veterinarian to complete our online referral form. Once it’s submitted, a member of the PetDerm team will reach out to guide you through the next steps.
